I think I got a bit carried away with the one sunny day we had yesterday and was prematurely looking forwards to spring! Have to admit I froze a bit when shooting this outfit as it was a lot colder than it looked outside! But days are getting longer, evenings are getting lighter and I am being optimistic about the end of winter!
This outfit is looking ahead to spring, and ripped jeans are well and truly back this season… anything from ripped knees to frayed hems! I have recycled these ripped jeans that I bought a few years ago back to the front of my wardrobe for this spring/summer season!
Another trend I have noticed is colour blocking. I don’t often wear bright colours, so I have toned this trend down to a more neutral feel with my cream and grey block shirt and my gorgeous cream and black suede heeled sandals! I really like the effect of the divide between colours as it is quite unusual and makes each piece more of a statement.
This bag is from an online shop called Boutique of Molly which I haven’t shopped from before. I really like this style of bag as it imitates the Chloé style. It comes in a really nice stone-grey suede with gold embellishments… and can perfectly transition from day to night which is great!
